A glimpse into what Mother’s Day means to me. While sitting in the shade nursing Wynne, a sweet woman commented to me how “those little moments were the best days of her life” and she couldn’t wait to watch her own daughter experience the same. Feeling so grateful to have these little slices of time, because I know they’re often taken for granted during the long days and nights, and they’re moments so many fight for every single day. It’s not always palm trees and ice cream before dinner, and today we honor all the motherly figures whose hard job often goes without thanks. You are important and YOU are doing an amazing job. (Also, Faire is missing from the photo, since she was too busy having fun in the pool with Dad wearing the biggest smile on her face, which if I’m being honest, was the most priceless gift of all.) ❤️ #mothersdaymoments
