Late January, we decided to pack our bags and drive out to Nashville for a few days. Without a doubt, Faire absolutely ROCKED her first road trip. If it wasn't for her favorite Kelsea Ballerini playlist on Spotify, not sure we could have survived the what-should-have-been-a-9-hour-drive-turned-13 hour-drive. We arrived right at the onset of winter storm Jonas, which added to the excitement of being back in a place so near and dear to my heart. (Fun fact: I lived in Nashville for about 4 years when I finished undergrad at Belmont University, and before Adam and I moved to NYC.)
We stayed six nights - two unplanned nights at a hotel, and four nights at two separate Airbnb's - again, this only added to the adventure! Days were spent eating at our favorite local spots, exploring some great shops, non-stop coffee runs, and catching up with old friends.
The first cottage we stayed in was behind an old antebellum plantation in Brentwood, with a working horse farm attached. The photos do no justice, this place was even dreamier in person and had the most beautiful "honey do" kitchen. Check out the listing here.
Below are photos from our second rental we stayed at, the Cleveland Cottage, located in East Nashville. This Scandinavian-style cottage was very thoughtfully curated, with a perfect blend of rustic meets vintage. The listing can be viewed here.
